“So, little Amélie, your bones aren’t made of glass. You can take life’s knocks. If you let this chance go by, eventually, your heart will become as dry and brittle as my skeleton.”—Amélie. 2001. (via penseesduchoeur)
“As I see it, you are living with something that you keep hidden deep inside. Something heavy. I felt it from the first time I met you. You have a strong gaze, as if you have made up your mind about something. To tell you the truth, I myself carry such things around inside. Heavy things. That is how I can see it in you.”—Haruki Murakami, 1Q84 (via stxxz)
“Breathe. You’re going to be okay. Breathe and remember that you’ve been in this place before. You’ve been this uncomfortable and anxious and scared, and you’ve survived. Breathe and know that you can survive this too. These feelings can’t break you. They’re painful and debilitating, but you can sit with them and eventually, they will pass. Maybe not immediately, but sometime soon, they are going to fade and when they do, you’ll look back at this moment and laugh for having doubted your resilience. I know it feels unbearable right now, but keep breathing, again and again. This will pass. I promise it will pass.”—Daniell Koepke (via obriens)
“Do you take pride in your hurt? Does it make you seem large and tragic? Well, think about it. Maybe you’re playing a part on a great stage with only yourself as audience.”—John Steinbeck, East of Eden (via stxxz)
“No matter where I go, I still end up me. What’s missing never changes. The scenery may change, but I’m still the same incomplete person. The same missing elements torture me with a hunger that I can never satisfy. I think that lack itself is as close as I’ll come to defining myself.”—Haruki Murakami, South of the Border, West of the Sun (via stxxz)
What's your skin care/make up routine? You're very pretty! <3
Right now I am using LUSH Let the Good Times Roll or Angels on Bare Skin as a cleanser. I then spritz my face with LUSH Tea Tree Water and for a moisturizer I am either using LUSH Imperialis, Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel, or Josie Maran Aragan Oil (I use a different moisturizer depending on how dry or sensitive my skin is that day). I do face masks about twice a week to deep clean my pores and refresh my face.
Thank you for the compliment :) <3
As for make up, I do something different every time I get ready. I use different primers, foundations, powders, blushes, bronzers… etc.
